This is the design, sewing, and commission journal for Atelier Ingenue, a small independent clothing line run by![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif)
arktoi. I specialize in Gothic Lolita and Steampunk styles, and any combination of the two. If you aren't familiar with these genres, I suggest you check out the ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif)
egl, lolita_handbook, and steamfashion communities. I will eventually be expanding into making clothing for 60cm ball jointed dolls, and my first doll, a Dream of Doll Shall, is on her way. ^_^
All of my items are handmade by me, from the ground up. From design to pattern to the finished garment, I hand-craft every detail. No two pieces are exactly the same, and everything is made to the customer's specifications. I strive to use high-quality materials and craftsmanship, but still offer reasonable prices. I think I've succeeded pretty well so far. ^_^;;
The website for Atelier Ingenue is a work in progress, as I am not the most web-design-savvy person. I'm working hard to get it up soon, though! For now, this blog will serve as the gallery, feedback, and ordering service for my designs.
